General Presentations

Support for when you’re not sure what’s wrong, only that something needs to change.

Many people come to therapy not with a clear label for what they’re experiencing, but with a sense that something just isn’t right.

You might feel low, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unlike yourself.

Perhaps life feels heavier than it should, relationships feel harder to navigate, or you’ve noticed patterns you can’t quite shift.

These are what I describe as general presentations—the very human experiences that don’t always fit neatly into a category but still deserve care, attention, and support.

General presentations often show up as a mix of emotional, physical, and relational signals: a persistent sense of unease, difficulty concentrating, feeling disconnected from others, changes in sleep or motivation, or a growing awareness that you’re coping rather than living.

Sometimes there’s a specific event that has unsettled you; other times it’s a gradual build-up of stress, self-doubt, or exhaustion. Things really do have a way of accumulating over time - don't they !

You may not know exactly what you need, only that you want life to feel lighter, more manageable, and more like your own.

Working with general presentations means we begin exactly where you are—without pressure to have the “right” words or a clear explanation.

Together we explore what’s happening beneath the surface, gently making sense of your inner world, your history, and the patterns that shape how you move through life.

This kind of work can support you in reconnecting with yourself, understanding your emotional landscape, and finding steadier ground, even when things feel uncertain or hard to articulate.

I’m here for you whenever you feel ready to take that first step.

And when that moment comes, you’re welcome to book a free, no‑obligation, 60‑minute session with me.

It’s simply an opportunity to get a sense of whether I feel like the right fit for you, at your pace, with no pressure.

And you can feel proud that you’ve taken one step (at least) towards feeling safer, more supported, and closer to where you want to be.

I look forward to speaking to you soon.
