Online Therapy

Online Therapy

A Safe, Supportive Space — Wherever You Are
Online therapy offers a calm, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences from the comfort of your own environment. Many people find that being in a familiar space helps them feel more grounded, more open, and more able to settle into the work.
You don’t need to travel, rush, or navigate unfamiliar places.
You simply arrive as you are — in a space that feels safe for you.

I offer online Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Brainspotting to people across the UK and parts of Europe, using secure video platforms such as Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp video.

I have undertaken training in delivering online and telephone therapy as part of my post graduate training.

This means you can be assured of an online therapy experience of the highest standard.

Why Online Therapy Works So Well

Online therapy is not a lesser version of in‑person work —

it is a fully recognised, effective, and deeply relational way of working.

Many people find it:

•     more accessible — no travel, no waiting rooms, no added stress
•     more comfortable — you can be in your own space, with your own comforts
•     more flexible — easier to fit around work, caring responsibilities, or health needs
•     more grounding — you can settle before and after sessions without rushing
•     more consistent — fewer cancellations due to travel, weather, or logistics

For trauma‑informed work, online therapy can be especially supportive. Being in your own environment often helps your nervous system feel safer and supports after session self care and integration, which can make deeper work more possible.

How Online Sessions Work & What You'll Need

Sessions take place via secure video platforms. You’ll need:
•     a private, comfortable space
•     a stable internet connection
•     a device with a camera and microphone
•     headphones if you prefer more privacy or if you would like to use binaural beats to support you in your Brainspotting sessions.

Before we begin, I’ll guide you through everything you need to know so you feel confident and prepared.
If you’re unsure whether online therapy will work for you, we can explore this together in your free one‑hour initial session.

Online Brainspotting

Brainspotting works beautifully online.

Because it is a deeply internal, body‑based process, many people find it easier to access emotional material when they are in their own environment.

Online Brainspotting allows you to:

•     settle into a familiar, safe space
•     regulate more easily before and after sessions
•     feel less exposed or self‑conscious
•     process at your own pace
•     remain grounded in your surroundings

I will guide you through the process step by step, ensuring you feel supported and attuned to throughout.

Is Online Therapy Right for You?

Online therapy can be a good fit if you:

•     prefer the comfort of your own space
•     have a busy schedule or limited travel options
•     feel anxious about attending in‑person sessions
•     live in a rural area or outside my local region
•     want continuity even when travelling or moving
•     feel safer or more grounded at home

If you’re unsure, we can talk about your concerns and explore what would feel most supportive for you.

In‑Person Sessions (When Needed)

Although most of my work is online, I can offer in‑person sessions in hired therapy rooms in the Liverpool area when this feels important for your therapeutic process.

We can discuss this in our initial meeting.

A Flexible, Accessible Way to Begin Therapy

Online therapy makes it easier to access support without the barriers that sometimes make in‑person work difficult.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, curious, or simply ready to explore what therapy might offer,

you’re welcome to book a free one‑hour initial session so we can meet and see what feels right for you.
